Royal Ascot is the world's most famous race meeting, steeped in history that dates back to 1711, and is undoubtedly the highlight of our year.
Recently rebuilt by HOK Sport Architects at the cost of £ 200m and refurbished in a record 20 months. It has now over 1,000 television screens, 265 hospitality boxes, 24 sets of escalators, almost £4m Prize money for Royal Ascot and 170,000 bottles of champagne expected to be drunk in the week.
The last year meeting was bigger and better than ever before, with a record crowd of people here to enjoy first class flat racing, breathtaking fashion and the glorious sunshine that adorned the Berkshire track.
Royal Ascot is internationally renowned as a magnificent sporting and social occasion, where tradition, pageantry and style all meet in a wonderful setting. With a total of fifteen group races, including at least one Group One event on each day, the quality of the horseracing is simply outstanding.
The five-day meeting is a perfect opportunity to experience the unique atmosphere of Royal Ascot, particularly for those who may not have been able to attend before. With at least one 'Group One' race on each of the five days, this is your chance to see the world's greatest thoroughbreds and jockeys competing for some of the most prestigious prizes of the season.
The action on the track is matched only by the fashions off it with a spectacular array of colourful outfits and hats on display, ranging from catwalk chic to the fascinating and obscure.
Dress Code: smart and formal. The dress code will be detailed on confirmation. Entry will be refused on inappropriate dress code.
